Geriatric Rehabilitation Program

Our geriatric program is designed for active seniors overcoming the effects of arthritis, deconditioning, or injury.  Our physical therapists will develop a safe, individually tailored rehabilitation program based on knowledge of your exact diagnosis.  And, they will work with you to establish a comprehensive program that you will enjoy and continue to do on your own at home to maximize your function after graduating from therapy.  At ELEVATE, we address a wide range of diagnoses, but all are designed to enhance each patient's ability to lead an independent, safe, and enjoyable lifestyle.

Benefits of Our Program:

  • Improve your ability to perform the day-to-day activities that you enjoy
  • Avoid debilitating effects of arthritis, surgery, or injury; and, reduce the risk of re-injury
  • Expert guidance through individually tailored treatments designed to achieve recovery goals quickly and effectively
  • Safe, effective, long-lasting pain relief
  • Sleep better and have a higher level of energy and alertness

How long before results are realized?
Recovery time depends on injury type and severity.

Be Wary Of...
  • Programs that are passive, focusing only on short term "feel-good" treatments that do not address your goals and your ability to live the lifestyle you want
  • Treatments by inexperienced therapists who have limited experience in geriatric orthopedic rehabilitation
  • Therapists who do not explain your condition or answer questions adequately
  • Prolonged use of pain or anti-inflammatory medications without addressing the underlying cause of the pain

Why Act Now?

Unfortunately, the pain, decreased mobility, strength, balance and loss of conditioning associated with arthritis, injury, surgery, and deconditioning tend to worsen when we do nothing!  Delayed action often results in an increased functional loss over time. If pain or loss in your ability to participate in normal daily activity persists for more than a few days, further evaluation by a qualified healthcare professional is recommended.  Don't wait.  Let us help "get you back into life!"
